Well, its been a while. I got around to thinking that maybe I should update this journal entry before it turns one year old (my previous entry was made September 2006; go figure).

I'm working in comics right now, but I'm also still a student. Just a bit more to go then I can really "spread my wings", so to speak.

Yeah, still alive.

2008!

Working! W00t! Finally. Plenty of paying comic work to go around, with me mostly acting as colorist. At times I get nervous when going a week or two with only a few pages being sent to me to work on, because that might mean a sudden surge any time soon.

I think my proposal to have the studio make a move towards the European market got accepted. So yayness! Building bridges is important, after all.

Aside from the titles I've been assigned to as colorist, I've been given a chance to have my own title published, but I haven't even started working on it yet. My first reaction was, "Yay!"

Then "I have to do my best! This is my shot!"

Then "Wait a minute, what exactly do I do?" (O______O)

Suddenly all the ideas I had fly out the window and refuse to get caught.

I've been considering getting an illustrator to do the pencils for me, so I can focus on writing (and eventually coloring, which looks like to be my biggest selling point at the moment). Nothing really final yet, though.
